Precision translation,
built in Los Angeles.
Pacific Lingua was founded in 2018 by a team of certified linguists and legal professionals who saw a gap in the market: agencies that understood both the technical rigor of certified translation and the cultural nuance required for it to actually work.
To eliminate language as a barrier to justice, healthcare, education, and opportunity. Every document we translate, every interpreter we deploy, every evaluation we produce—it all serves that single purpose.
We started in a small office on Wilshire Boulevard with three translators. Today, our network spans over 2,400 certified linguists across every continent. Our headquarters remain in downtown Los Angeles—the most linguistically diverse city in the United States, where over 224 languages are spoken daily. This is our laboratory. This is where we prove that precision translation changes lives.
What We Stand For
Certification Without Compromise
Every translation meets or exceeds USCIS, court, and industry standards. Our certification process is audited quarterly.
Native Speakers Only
We never assign a translator who isn't a native speaker of the target language. Dialect matching is standard, not optional.
Cultural Fluency
Translation without cultural context is just word substitution. Our linguists live and work in the regions whose languages they translate.
Industry Specialization
A legal translator is not a medical translator. We match subject-matter expertise to every project—down to the sub-specialty level.
Quality Obsession
Two rounds of bilingual review on every project. Error rate tracked and maintained below 0.3%. That's not marketing—that's our internal SLA.
HTTPS & HIPAA Compliant
End-to-end encrypted file transfer. HIPAA-compliant workflows for medical clients. SOC 2 Type II certification in progress.
